Striped Jeans [again]

Remember when I posted about striped jeans? Well, yesterday I went to Kohl's and tried on the pink/white ones. The fit was a little off. They were too tight at the top and too lose at the bottom.. Anyways, Just wanted to post my input!

Minty Zara!!!

We all know Zara as the one place where it basically serves as a staple store. Zara has everything you need! I like to call it heaven... yeah that's what it is. Anyway, while I was in San Francisco I went to the Zara there. It was heaven, as I said before. I saw some really cute stuff... so I shall now post the mint blouse!


This sheer mint green blouse is great for the summer because it can serve as a cover-up for either the beach or the pool. It's also great for layering. Put a thick knit jumper under and it's nice and warm for winter.

Pink Semi-Distressed Jeans? I think yes!

Yesterday, when I went to San Francisco, I found so many cute jeans! Yes, that may have been the only thing I was looking for... but I need a new pair! When I was in H&M I saw these bright pink semi-lightwash jeans. They are so gorgeous,, I almost bought them! They color is perfect for a transition from Summer to Fall or even Winter to Spring to Summer (maybe not so much Fall to Winter)!

The best way to style this outfit (in my mind), would be to wear a light colored (such as ivory or a pastel) silk/chiffon top. Then add a nice bulky or bib necklace to finish these jeans off. You could even layer the top with a neutral colored light (good for summer) cardigan and then add on a leather jacket of your choice!

As all fashion fanatics know, ombre is one of the year's biggest trends. People wear it in their hair, on their shirts, and on their pants.This shirt comes in purple and black. Personally I like the purple better because it as color in it (not that I don't like neutrals!).

H&M is heaven on earth

H&M.. the best store in the whole entire world, and I'm not just saying that because we come from the same place (Scandinavia). It seems like whenever I'm in there I always find something I need!


The first thing I found was this adorable necklace. Gold chains are really good for summer because it makes you skin look a bit more tan than silver would (<fun fact)! The lighting is a bit off in this picture but the stones on the necklace are a light pastel pink.

As you can see below I paired it with a black dress. It's a great necklace to highlight an outfit. And it isn't at all inappropriate for work, so you could always pair it with a dress suit to spice up your day!




The next thing I saw was this gorgeous semi-sheer multi-colored blouse. The floral pattern was the first thing that caught my eye. It's sleeveless so it's a great staple for summer.

DeMasque,

Before today I have never even heard of DeMasque. But the clothing is so cute it was hard to resist going in! DeMasque is a California based clothing store which only sells women's clothing. Their clothing is made to 15 to 40 year old women. Demasque has a similar style as Cotton On. I went online to see if they had a website, but unfortunately it is under construction. I did some stalking on the page and found out that the actual website should be up soon and they will post on their facebook page when it is officially up! Back to the point.. My friend tried on these gorgeous aqua blue skinny jeans:

As with any other brightly colored jeans, the best way to enhance a colored jean is to wear neutrals. But if you are a risk taker like many people in the fashion industry you could always color block! Color blocking is another thing that is in this year. If you do choose to color block make sure you use a color from the opposite side of the color wheel or else the outfit will look a bit wonky.

Cotton On (Aussie Store)

Cotton On is a pretty new store. It's originally from Australia, so all of their sizing is Australian. But their clothing is amazing! Unfortunately I only found one item in this store, because it was crowded!
I found these lovely burgundy jeggings. The fabric was so soft, I could barely leave it!

The best way to wear these pants is either with a slouchy knit jumper that is a natural colour (such as brown, tan, black, or white) or to wear it with a sleek blazer with a lace corset underneath. Corsets are very in style at the moment and look very nice with a skinny jegging!

Shopping!!!

Today I went on an extravagant trip to the Westfield Mall in San Francisco with one of my best friends.  While I was there I made sure to keep my eye out for thing that I could post pictures of on here. Long story short the pictures turned out horrible and didn't do any of the clothes justice. I saved the pictures and wrote down where each piece was from. I was wondering how I should post them, but in the end I decided to post the picture by store! I'll include; price, store, colour, link to the website, and what I think you could pair with it! VS Bathing Suit!!

Yesterday I went bathing suit shopping and bought the cutest top ever! It's from Victoria's Secret (best store for bathing suits!)



The picture doesn't completely do the suit justice, it is way more neon than it looks! Anyway, The bathing suit has great support and even comes in a push-up version (that's a plus)! I'll post some pictures of me wearing it later, well once I actually go to the pool!
